Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Who We Are
Mission Electric, LLC operates the website missionelectric-ct.com. We are a licensed electrical contractor serving Hartford County, Tolland County, and surrounding Connecticut towns. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit our site.
2. What Data We Collect
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This tool collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- General geographic region (city or county level only)
- Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet) and browser
- How you arrived at our site (search engine, direct link, etc.)
Google Analytics does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any information that personally identifies you. We cannot identify individual visitors through analytics data.
3. Cookies and Tracking
We set one cookie to remember your analytics preference (accept or decline). If you accept, Google Analytics sets additional cookies to track page views. These cookies do not store personal information. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser data for this site, which will show the consent banner again.
4. How We Use This Data
We use anonymized analytics data solely to improve our website and understand which services visitors are most interested in. We do not sell, share, or trade this data with any third party. We do not use it for advertising or marketing automation.
5. Third-Party Services
When you book a service, you are redirected to HouseCall Pro or JotForm. These platforms have their own privacy policies and handle your personal information independently. We do not control or access data stored on these platforms beyond what is necessary to complete your booking or intake form.
We also link to Wisetack for financing. Wisetack's privacy policy governs any information you provide through their application process.
6. Data Storage and Security
Google Analytics data is stored on Google's servers and subject to their security practices. The consent preference cookie is stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our server. Our website itself does not store any visitor data on our servers.
7. Your Choices
You may decline analytics tracking by clicking "Decline" on the cookie banner when you first visit, or by clearing your browser data for this site to see the banner again. You can also use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting, though we do not currently respond to DNT signals as our tracking is already opt-in only.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if our data practices change. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
